Victoria Hotspurs F.C. Promoted to the BOV Challenge League

Victoria Hotspurs F.C. 2 – 1 Mqabba F.C.

Scorers: 40′ Ferdinando Apap, 58′ Chris Mercieca

Victoria Hotspurs secured a historic promotion to the Challenge League as they defeated Mqabba 2-1 in match from the BOV Amateur League at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday. 

Ferdinando Apap put the Hotspur ahead five minutes from the end of the first half and Christian Mercieca doubled the score one minute in the second half. Lucia Mijic converted a penalty for Mqabba eleven minutes from time. 

The moment we’ve all been dreaming of is finally here.

After a season of grit, passion, and unwavering determination, Victoria Hotspurs F.C. are officially promoted to the Challenge League!
