Training Camp – Gambarie, Italy (26–31 July 2025)

As part of its preparations for the upcoming 2025–2026 football season, Victoria Hotspurs F.C. will hold a pre-season training camp in the picturesque mountain village of Gambarie, Reggio Calabria, Italy, between the 26th and 31st of July 2025. A 35-member contingent—including players, technical staff, and support personnel—will take part in the camp.

Known for its excellent training and accommodation facilities, Gambarie provides the ideal setting for intensive physical preparation, tactical development, and team bonding. A series of training sessions will be led by Head Coach and Technical Director Oliver Spiteri.

This year’s camp will also mark the integration of several new players into the squad and will place strong emphasis on team-building.

Club President Dr Anton Tabone commented:

The natural beauty, tranquillity, and refreshing climate of the Aspromonte mountains make Gambarie the perfect location for this initiative.

We are also honoured to be playing a friendly match against Reggina 1914—a club with a proud history and a passionate fanbase across southern Italy. This encounter will no doubt be a special highlight of our camp.”
