Ferdinando Apap Is Coming Home
Victoria Hotspurs proudly announce the return to our squad of Gozitan football legend Ferdinando Apap.
With Hotspurs, Ferdi has won two championships, one First Division KO Cup, the GFA Cup as well as the Gozo Super Cup. He also won two other leagues, with Ghajnsielem FC and Xewkija Tigers. Ferdinando was ‘GFA Player of the Year’ twice, in 2014 and again in 2019.
Ferdi has had the distinguished honour of being selected for the Malta National Team when he was a Hotspurs’ player, playing 18 times for Malta and scoring one goal.
He also played for Hibernians in the Malta Premier League, having 135 caps and scoring 17 goals. With Hibs, Ferdi won the Premier League and the Super Cup.
