Opposition Leader Visits Victoria Hotspurs F.C.

Yesterday, the Leader of the Opposition and PN Leader, Dr Bernard Grech, paid a courtesy visit to our club.

President Dr Anton Tabone, welcoming Dr Grech, his wife and PN officials and candidates at our premises, said that it is an honour for us to show him around our club and inform him about our glorious history and plans for the future.

On his part, Dr Grech thanked President Tabone for his warm welcome and said that such visits are essential if politicians are to formulate effective policies vis-a-vis sport organisations. He also wished Hotspurs best of luck for our upcoming participation in the MFA League.

Towards the end of the meeting, Dr Tabone presented Dr Grech with a club gear as well as a commemorative memento.
