Club Statement

Yesterday, a new page was written in our club’s rich history with the unanimous approval of a new statute. This was indeed the first step to place our beloved club on strong foundations.

Among other things mentioned in the new statute, there are the compositions of:
(1) The Club Executive Board – this will be the highest organ of the club. The Executive Board shall consist of a Chairman, together with a CEO and other three members. The Executive Board shall be entrusted with the drafting of an overall vision, strategy and ‘action plan’ for the Club. The Executive Board shall be elected for a minimum period of TWO years. The Chairman of the Executive Board will nominate the CEO and the members of the said Board.

(2) The Disciplinary Board – this board shall be entrusted with deciding disciplinary matters pertaining to the behavior of the any of its players, whenever such a case is brought to its attention. The composition of the Disciplinary Board shall be of three members – one chairperson together with two other members.

(3) The Appointment of a number of Sub-committees – two new sub-committees will be formed. These are the (1) Supporters & Fund Raising Committee and (2) Women’s Committee.

The management of the club is working hard not only to build up a strong squad but to ensure the club’s efficiency and sustainability through strong and good governance. We encourage all supporters to become members of our club. An official notification containing all nominees for the aforementioned posts/positions will be published in the coming days.

This is just the beginning. Over the new few weeks / months more exciting news will be published.
