Former President George Said Awarded for his Lifetime Contribution to Football in Gozo
During last Friday’s Gozo Football Association yearly Awards ceremony, former President of Victoria Hotspurs, Mr George Said was awarded for his lifetime contribution to football in Gozo.
Mr. Said served as Hotspurs’ player for several years and as President for 25 years, during which the club won all major trophies, including the Millennium Cup. As GFA President Dr. Samuel Azzopardi pointed out, George Said is truly a legend of Gozitan football.
